Kenneth Danchick Residence

In 2018 we received a call from Mr. Kenneth Danchik, the associate organist of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Cathedral in Pittsburgh, asking if we could build a small but versatile practice instrument for his home music suite. After much discussion and several design drafts, a modern layout was chosen for a compact 3-manual instrument of 7 ranks and 28 stops to fit beneath an 8-foot ceiling. The Mixture stop was derived from multiple ranks to provide shimmer without being overbearing in such an intimate space.
